Dean’s aggressive approach to adopting emerging technologies makes it one of the top tier passenger transportation companies in the motor coach industry. Dean vehicles are equipped with state-of-the-art navigation systems, driver hours-of-services tablets (e-logs), electronic vehicle inspection records, and remote engine diagnostic systems to monitor vehicle operations. Dean also utilizes an industry leading forward and rear facing camera system to monitor driver behavior and performance. This system utilizes AI based technology to monitor driver behavior and document on-road performance. This data is utilized for teaching and ongoing training. Dean also invests heavily in state-of-the-art customer comforts such as 4GLTE Wi-Fi, DirecTV, 120V and USB outlets, and premium seating options in a majority of our fleet.

Trailways Network

In 1999, Dean joined the Trailways Transportation Systems Network. Trailways is a national network of independently owned motor coach and passenger transportation operators who work collaboratively to build loyalty and business in the Trailways Brand. Trailways is one of the oldest and most established Transportation brands in the country, beginning operation in 1936. Today, operators in North America and Europe utilize the Trailways brand to share best practices, on-road support, and unite in industry advocacy. For you as the customer, this means Dean has additional support throughout North American from affiliate companies should it be needed while on the road to your favorite destination.
